This three-bedroom apartment of 130 square meters, recently operated upon with signs of modernity but dark and soulless, filled with objects and antique furniture in need of recycling and repair.

A light and neutral base that reflected more light was essential, so walls, ceilings, doors and skirting boards were painted white. The central element that connected the entrance hallway to the living/ dining room was painted in a salmon tone, to establish some contrast and to highlight it, helping the crossing of the colour palette selected for textiles and decorative items.

The distribution and furniture layout was studied in order for all compartments to be functional and more welcoming. Numerous pieces were restored and upholstered with colourful, warm and cheerful textiles. In the dining area, floral pattern wallpaper with bright colours was used, to give dynamics and highlight the wall, helping to mitigate the presence of an existing dark wood sideboard.

The tailor-made bookcase designed for the office and all the remaining proposed furnishings and décor items have enhanced a more modern style, renewing the general ambience of the apartment.
