An underused attic with 50 square meters was converted into a large double bedroom, with three distinctive zones: sleeping area, living room and closet.

Two windows were opened in the lounge zone, Velux type, since there was only one small window in the central area and the space lacked of natural light.

Carpentry was tailor-made (closet and bed headboard), to meet client’s needs. Storage areas were planned in the slanting areas of the attic, ensuring ease circulation and helping everything to be accessed without difficulty.

Striped wallpaper reinforces the inclination of the ceiling and confers dynamism and comfort to the room.

The colour palette, selection of textiles and furnishings were chosen following a retro line, according to the client's taste.

The project included drawings of tailor-made upholstery work.
